Multimedia 1 - Work on your 5 CORRECTIONS from yesterday.  Make sure you crop & straighten the other photos in your collection for best composition.  Start of your SLIDESHOW in iMovie.

Graphics 2 - Your WPA posters are due on your blog today.  Work on the CARFACE project.

Day 35 - Wednesday, October, 27, 2010

Graphics 1 - Work on your posters, I will demo your next project, the TYPE ON A PATH project.

Multimedia 1 - Today I will demo the the 5 photo edits that are to be included in your slide show.  Use a different photo for EACH effect.  THRESHOLD, B&W, ISOLATE, INVERT, & BEST CORRECTION.  Save these as JPEG.  DO NOT SAVE OVER THE ORIGINALS.

Graphics 2 - Work on your CARFACE project.  You WPA posters are due on your blog THURSDAY.

 

Day 34 - Multimedia QUIZ today!!!

Graphics 1 - Work on Movie Posters.

Multimedia 1 - Today you have your VOCAB quiz.  We will look at the rest of your pics and CROP and STRAIGHTEN them.

Graphics 2 - Finish up your WPA posters.  If you are done, start on your CARFACE assignment that was demoed yesterday.

Day 33 - 25 photos & posters

Graphics 1 - You have next week to work on your POSTERS, then we will look at your progress.

Multimedia 1 - You have 25 pics due on MONDAY, remember no excuses.

Graphics 2 - Finish up you posters.

Day 32 - Photoshopery, Bob Marley, & Posters

Graphics 1 - Work on your MOVIE POSTERS.  I will demo some videos on our techniques.  Today I will show the BOB MARLEY vector video.

Multimedia 1 - Today you will finish up your terms and I will demo how to crop and alter colors in PHOTOSHOP.  Your PHOTOGRAPHY ASSIGNMENT is due on MONDAY!

Multimedia 1 - Today I will handout your PHOTO ASSIGNMENT sheets for the weekend.  Remember, your photos are due MONDAY, no excuses.  I will go over the various shots you are required to take.

Day 29 - Sketches, Editing, & Nonprofits

Graphics 1 - Today we will present your sketches for your MOVIE POSTER concepts.

Multimedia 1 - Today you will make the final edits on your iMovie NEWSCASTS, then SHARE it to my DROPBOX.

Graphics 2 - Today you will present your sketches for your NPA/WPA posters.

Graphics 1 - Today I will demo the MOVIE POSTER assignment.  Please play careful attention to the specifics.

Multimedia 1 - Today I will demo how to edit your movies.  Transitions, Audio, Pictures, and how to put a graphic overlay in.

Graphics 2 - Today you will present sketches for your Poster project.

Day 27 - Tuesday Oct. 12, 2010

Graphics 1 - Your ILLUSTRATIONS are due on your blog today.  Start on the ROCKET it is due THURSDAY.  I will demo the MOVIE POSTER on WED.


Multimedia 1 - Today you will record your NEWS STORIES into iMovie.  Tomorrow we will start editing.

Graphics 2 - Today you will turn in your paper on your NONPROFIT.  Then you can start your sketches.

Day 26 - ROCKET TUTORIAL

Graphics 1 - Click HERE! - Rocket Tutorial.  Your ILLUSTRATIONS must be posted by TUESDAY.

Multimedia 1 - Today I will return your concepts and we will begin recording your iMovie NEWSCASTS.

Graphics 2 - You STAMPS are due on your blog WEDNESDAY.  Begin researching the WPA poster style.  The research a NONPROFIT organization that you would like to design a poster for.  The Grand County Grand Foundation has a great list of nonprofits on their site.

Graphics 1 - Today your may continue working on your ILLUSTRATIONS.  We will present your progress to the class.


Multimedia 1 - Today I will demo how to use iMovie.  Your NEWS CONCEPTS are due today.

Graphics 2 - Today your may continue working on your STAMPS.  We will present your progress to the class.  If you are done, do a web search on WPA POSTERS and study the style.  Then you will research a local NONPROFIT organization.

Graphics 1 - Finish up on your ILLUSTRATIONS, we will take a look at some of them in class tomorrow.

Multimedia 1 - I will give you 15 minutes at the beginning of class to finish exporting your GARAGEBAND quiz.  Then we will break up into our new NEWS groups and research stories for our categories.

Day 23 - Tuesday Oct. 6, 2010

Graphics 1 - Work day for your ILLUSTRATIONS.  I will help you in class.

Multimedia 1 - QUIZ TODAY!  You have 6 multiple choice questions, then you will create your slideshow in GARAGEBAND to finish your quiz.

Day 22 - Slideshow, Tones, & Stamps

Graphics 1 - This week is a work week.  As long as everyone stays on task I will give you plenty of time to create a quality ILLUSTRATION.  Remember, every color must have a minimum of 3 tones.  Refer to the Magic Marble demo in my earlier posts.

Multimedia 1 - Today you will have the hour to finish up your COLLAGES for the Album Art of your podcast.  Save for WEB and post to your blog.  Also look over GARAGEBAND as you will have a quiz over it TOMORROW!
